Geo's 1st Movie (also known as Geo's 1st Movie: A Hero Will Rise, originally called Geo's World: The Movie, also known in Japan as Geo no 1 st Mūbī (ジオの1stムービー Jio no 1 st mūbī, lit. "1st Movie of Geo-") is a 1997 American computer-animated comedy-adventure film based on ABC's hit TV show and the comic strip Geo's World. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. In this film, Geo Guy's newest enemy, Doom Vercetti, has a plan to get rid of his parents once and for all, so Geo Guy, Green Bob, Leah, and the rest of 123 Geo's World team up to save Geo Guy's parents.

In 1994, following the success and popularity of the television series, Geo G., along with John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Joe Ranft, and Pete Doctor have begun production on the film. Although there were treatments for it to be released as a direct-to-video film, Geo G. decided that the film should go big in its scale and be released in theaters. During early development, the film's working title was Geo's World: The Movie but it was later changed in 1996 to Geo's 1st Movie. In addition, Bob Beanson was originally going to be the main antagonist but was changed to Doom Vercetti. The Pixar staff began working on the script in mid-1995 following Toy Story's massive success (which had a large influence on development) and the animation in November 1996.

The film was released in the United States theatrically in theaters on Tuesday, December 23, 1997, in the United States and in the United Kingdom on January 2, 1998. The film was originally planned to be released theatrically in Australia, but after a very brief run-in limited cinemas in May 1998, it was instead released direct-to-video on August 20, 1998. The film was released on home video on May 6, 1998. Geo's 1st Movie received highly acclaimed reviews and was a box office success.

SPOILER: Plot details follow.

We see a panoramic view of 123 Geo's World as Liz, Geo Guy's mother is driving him home from shopping groceries. Geo later notices a billboard advertising for "The World's Greatest Pool".

Geo Guy says that he wants The World's Greatest Pool for his birthday, but Liz, his mother says she can't buy it because it costs too much money. Geo insists that they get the pool but Liz refuses which disappoints Geo. Later at night, Geo Guy is on his bed and is thinking about the pool that his mom didn't buy him. He thinks about all of the possibilities and adventures if he were to get that pool. Just then, when Liz comes in his room, she tells Geo that she will buy the pool. Excited, Geo thanks her and calls up all his friends telling them the good news.

At the birthday party, Geo is celebrating with Green Bob, Little Guy, Fulano, Wally, Lumpy, Geo Girl, Gum, Coraline, Lisa, Margo, Dr. Beanson, Doctor, and Dr. PBS. After the pool has been installed Geo Guy dives in first relishing in all the possibilities of the kind of adventures he would like to imagine going on. He later roleplays with Green Bob being pirates fighting in the ocean but even then, Geo doesn't feel too satisfied as he thought the pool wasn't what he was hoping for. Green Bob asks what Geo wished for when he blew that birthday candle to which Geo responded: "A real and exciting adventure". Green Bob later brings up the past "adventures" he and Geo went on but Geo clarifies stating that he was talking about one that includes "danger and plot twists". Green Bob responds to Geo that he doesn't need all that as long as he got friends who are there for him.

As the party is wrapping up, Geo Guy later meets Lara, a 9-year-old girl who has a doll named Tikiy and was invited to the party. Lara asks Geo if he really wants to go on a "big adventure" to which Geo responds with a "yes". Lara tells Geo that there is someone out there plotting to take down Geo Guy's parents for "revenge". Geo is dismissive at first until she mentions the name: Doom Vercetti. Geo, having heard the name before in passing, realizes his parents could be in danger since his parents have spoken about her before. He asks Lara on what he can do (but also trying not to pass up the opportunity of adventure) to which Lara states that he can meet this girl living in this mansion called "Whipstaff Manor" who might have some kind of connection to this. Interested, Geo asks Lara how she learned of this info after overhearing two people dressed suspiciously using walkie-talkies as communication near the mansion. Geo thanks Lara and decides to set out on this mission. Geo tells Green Bob that his "wish" came true and that they have to get moving. Green Bob asks where they have to go, to which Geo states the name of the mansion. Excitedly, Geo Guy and Green Bob set off to the mansion to meet this girl that presumably living there. Geo Girl asks Little Guy if he had any idea of who Doom Vercetti is with Little Guy answering with a confused shrug.

Meanwhile, in Doom Vercetti's lair, her guards arrive to tell her that they saw Geo Guy and Green Bob, which angers her. She originally planned to send the guards to destroy Geo Guy, but Doom Vercetti decides to instead trap Geo Guy's parents and the people from 123 Geo's World as "revenge for what they did".

Geo Guy and Green Bob arrived at the gate, but Green Bob said the gate is blocked by thorns and they can't go by because the thorns blocking the gate. Geo uses a knife to cut through and they find the mansion; Geo says that there supposedly a girl living inside the place and Green Bob thinks they should go inside to see what this is about. They open the door and go inside which is filled with dust and cobwebs. Geo then hears something coming from upstairs and they head up to see who it is. Geo sees a young orphan girl named Leah who does not have her parents and heard someone is coming. He walks closer to her, and she turns around looking at him and says with a smile on her face; Leah felt happy when Geo Guy is rescuing her and tells him that her parents died when she was a little girl. Geo Guy tells her that he can get her out of this place and Leah is coming with him. Geo Guy tells Green Bob that he found a girl that she's named Leah, and they are ready to head back to 123 Geo's World. Leah frees a golden bird creature named Goldie and Geo Guy and Green Bob join along. Goldie flies through the window as they head back to 123 Geo's World. Two guards near area watch as the bird flies by and reports that "the girl has escaped".

Goldie arrives at 123 Geo's World and Leah thanks her for the ride as she flies off. Leah thanks Geo Guy for saving her, to which Geo responds to her saying "not a problem". Leah asks Geo Guy that she can join him and get ready to go on an adventure and taking a walk, but Geo says that Leah can't join the adventure with him with wearing rag clothes. By this point, Geo Guy is starting to develop feelings for Leah with Green Bob even teasing him if Geo "like likes" her. Geo for now brushes it off and he decides that they should give Leah a makeover.

In the montage (as the song "Strange Things" by Randy Newman plays), as Leah is standing on a chair and tries to reach the hairbrush, she is about to fall down but Geo Guy saves her. Green Bob helps Leah to use Webbly that she can use it to climb up on walls and use as a lasso and the makeover begins where Leah is ready to get herself clean; Green Bob finds some makeup and Leah uses a blow dryer to dry her hair off. Leah fills some hot water to make her feet warm up as Green Bob brought some new clothes for her; she is all dressed up wearing a blouse and skirt. Leah paints her toenails and fingernails with a pink nail polish. Geo cleans Leah's ears and pierces her ears with needle pearl causing her to briefly scream before Geo covers her mouth and put on stud earrings. Leah puts on some yellow and blue bracelets on her left wrist and putting on a hairbow left on top of her head and try on new shoes. Leah finishes brushing her hair and after she shows off her new look, Geo and Green Bob amusingly call her "The New Leah". Geo states that she liked her new outfit and Leah asks Geo if he has any friends around. Geo tells her that he knows some friends he can meet.

That evening, Geo Guy, Green Bob, and Leah are walking on the sidewalk, and she asks him if he is truly the "king of 123 Geo's World". Geo responds to her saying "Yes, I mean this town was basically named after me!" Green Bob teases him saying that it was actually the other way around (indicating that his parents named Geo after the town's name). They find themselves at the Large Suburban House which is where Geo's friends hang out sometimes during the weekends when they have nothing better to do. Geo opens the door, and they see Little Guy, Fulano, Wally, Lumpy, Geo Girl, Gum, and Coraline playing cards, Dr. PBS, Doctor, and Dr. Beanson chatting near the kitchen area, and Lisa, Margo, and Lara playing some arcade games. Leah feels nervous but Geo says that "it will be fine". He greets everyone and announces that he has found a "new friend from the mansion named Leah". Everyone stops what they're doing. Geo tells everyone to introduce themselves to her so she can feel comfortable in 123 Geo's World. Dr. PBS is the first to introduce himself and welcomes Leah to the town, telling her all the activities they do here. The rest of Geo Guy's friends and family is introduced to Leah as well. By the time they are finished, Little Guy asks Leah to introduce herself since he is curious about the place where Geo Guy and Green Bob headed to. Leah then tells the story her parents being dead since when she was little and that she has been very sad ever since her parents are gone forever. Geo Girl tells Leah that she will be okay and hugs her to make her feel better, as her story ends. Dr. PBS comforts her stating that she is welcomed in 123 Geo's World and that they are here for her. Afterwards, he asks everyone if they want to watch a movie. Everyone agrees excitedly and they head to the living room as Gum turns on the TV. Geo asks if Leah wants to watch the movie, but she said that she wants to go outside to get some fresh air. As she heads out, Geo asks Lara what Leah has to do with Doom Vercetti. Lara responds to Geo that she doesn't know and only heard it because of two suspicious people. Geo tells Lara that he hopes that she isn't going to get him into trouble with Lara responding that Geo wanted to go on an adventure. However, Geo is starting to have second thoughts about it.

Leah is walking outside and starts to look around before Geo Guy says "hi!" to her. Leah gasps and tells him that he scared her; Geo says sorry for scaring her. Geo, Green Bob, and Leah lay on the grass and look at the stars in the sky. Green Bob points to a star formation in the sky and asks what it is called. Geo says that it is the "Big Dipper" and later points to another constellation named "Orion". Leah tells Geo and Green Bob that she always likes looking at the constellations because they indicate a whole different world beyond here. Leah smiles and begins feeling tired stating she needs to get some sleep. Geo Guy and Green Bob decide to take her to Geo's house where she can stay in.

At Geo Guy's home, Leah is introduced to Geo's parents Liz and Tom Conner and more of his family including Geo Girl, Wally, Lumpy, and Gum (who were all present at the Large Suburban House). The Geo Guy clones were mentioned as they were on vacation to Japan. Geo, Green Bob, and Leah head to Geo's bedroom as Geo lays out the sleeping bags for them. Geo and Leah also briefly have some fun with kicking a Luxo Ball into the trash can as a goal. Afterwards, Geo turns off the lights as they get themselves ready for the adventure ahead of them tomorrow. They say goodnight to each other and close their eyes to sleep.

Geo Guy later wakes up an hour later having trouble sleeping. He quietly sneaks out of the room and walks into the kitchen where his parents are. Tom Conner, Geo's father asks him if there's something wrong. Geo responds by asking him about Doom Vercetti wondering on who she is and why is she sometimes mentioned by Liz and Tom. Tom decides to tell Geo about who Doom Vercetti was. Although Liz was at first hesitant on telling him, Tom decides that Geo is old enough to talk about this. Tom pulls out an old college photo of him, Liz, and Vercetti and states that around the time he was in college, he was friends with Vercetti. She had known that he was dating Liz at the time and Vercetti had started to develop feelings towards him. Tom says that this didn't become an issue until his last year in college when Vercetti had started plotting several schemes to get rid of Liz and it went overboard when she attempted to "take out" a seat that she thought Liz was sitting in during graduation. He explains that she was caught and expelled from the campus. Since then, she later got herself into constant legal trouble and eventually disappeared from Greeny City and 123 Geo's World altogether with only occasional rumors saying that she's either dead or planning "something big". Geo, now curious and worried, about Vercetti asks Tom, if he thinks that those rumors might be true. As we see the outside of Geo Guy's house, the guards see Geo talking to his father and Leah sleeping. They report back to Doom Vercetti who has an evil smile on her face.

This following morning, Leah wakes up and goes outside and sings "When You Wish Upon a Rainbow". Geo Guy wakes up and hears Leah singing. He goes outside as the song ends with Leah looking at herself in a water reflection. Geo asks Leah how she is doing and if she's ready to start her first day living in 123 Geo's World. She responds with a yes and hugs Geo. Geo Guy, Green Bob, and Leah go on a walk in the park where they begin to discuss certain things like past events from their childhood. When Geo asks Leah more about her childhood, she tells Geo that she doesn't know anything at all. When Geo brings up what Lara said about her and Doom Vercetti, Leah tells Geo that she doesn't know any of it or even who Vercetti is. Geo becomes more confused about the point of his mission but at the same time, he's starting to develop more feelings for Leah especially after she sung a beautiful song in the morning. As they arrive home, Geo asks if he can have a private talk with Green Bob in the bathroom.

Geo Guy locks the bathroom door and starts to ask Green Bob wondering if this entire adventure was really worth it. Green Bob tells Geo that this adventure isn't even over yet, and they still have to figure out what Vercetti might be doing. However, Geo states that he isn't sure and tells Green Bob about Vercetti's backstory while questioning if Leah is even connected at all to any of this. Green Bob says to Geo that he needs to be patient because there's so much, they don't know yet. Geo then confesses that he is starting to some kind of feelings towards Leah; something he hasn't felt since breaking up with Coraline. Green Bob tells Geo that everything will be okay and hopefully, they will find answers to this.

That night, Lisa is reading a comic book with Geo Girl (who is holding the sleepover), Leah, Coraline, Margo, and Lara, but Geo Guy tells them to get ready to go to bed. As Geo gets into his bed ready to sleep, he briefly looks at Leah who has begun sleeping feeling sad for her of what she had gone through. Eventually, he falls asleep, and he starts to dream. He sees himself in a desert land which turns out to be the ruins of 123 Geo's World and Greeny City. He then sees Doom Vercetti holding a blaster walking towards Geo. Geo becomes terrified, yelling at her to not come closer. As she points the blaster at Geo, he yells and wakes up from his nightmare. Everyone in the room wakes up and they ask Geo if he's okay. Geo tells them that he had a nightmare that Doom Vercetti was going to kill him. Leah asks if it's okay if she sleeps with Geo to make him feel better; Geo blushes embarrassingly but before he could refuse, he stopped to think for a minute before we cut to Leah sleeping with Geo. Although Geo at first feels embarrassed as Leah hugs him, Geo starts to feel more comfortable and hugs her back glad that she's there for him. Outside the house, Vercetti's guards have been spying and notices Leah and Geo sleeping together.

As the guards return, she asks if the coast is clear to enact the plan. The guards tell her that Geo Guy is sleeping with Leah making it difficult for them to take down his parents. Doom Vercetti is furious knowing that Geo has friends that will defend him making it harder for her achieve his goal. She thinks about taking out Geo Guy's parents but instead decides to consult her boyfriend about the matter. In the lab room, she meets with her boyfriend Carl H'Sur who has been trying on hoodies to see which ones makes him look cool. She tells Carl that it's starting to become more difficult to take down Geo's parents for revenge. Carl scolds her for not putting her plan into action before Geo Guy was born because it isn't just Geo Guy and his parents that are against her but the entirety of 123 Geo's World. Vercetti responds that during the time when Geo's parents were dating, she was spending her time behind bars before being transferred off elsewhere away from 123 Geo's World and Greeny City. She tells Carl that he's lucky that he broke her out of there or he would've been nothing. Carl states that it wouldn't even matter because he was already developing advanced technology for his top secret organization he ran. Afterwards, Vercetti (in an emotional plead) tells Carl that no matter what he is, she still loves him and they will do everything they can to accomplish their goals. Carl asks Vercetti on what is she implying by that with Vercetti asking Carl of a favor and she hands him a powerful blaster. She tells him, "take down Geo Guy and together we can get our revenge". Carl accepts and he gathers the guards.

The next day, Geo Guy wakes up still feeling tired from what happened last night. As he and his friends go through their daily rountine, he hears the sound of a laser and suddenly, the power goes out. Geo runs to the window to see Carl H'Sur and four guards with blasters taking out the telephone poles. Geo is taken by surprise and immediately starts yelling at everyone to "run for cover". Leah sees Carl and feels some sort of déjà vu. Geo tells her to take cover as Carl starts blasting the house. Leah is confused as she feels that the situation she is in was familar and is unable to comprehend everything Geo is telling her. Geo tells Leah and Green Bob to block the door to the parents room to protect them. However, as Green Bob is running to the parents room, he notices Leah is looking confused and he tells her that they have to hurry. Meanwhile Geo Guy (along with Geo Girl, Coraline, Lisa, Margo, and Lara are hiding in the Kitchen thinking on what to do now. They decided to charge Carl and the guards with everything they got which includes tables, chairs, and even toys. As Carl and the guards make their way forward (while continuing to blast the place), Geo and everyone start to throw objects to prevent them from getting through. Meanwhile Green Bob, is trying to get Leah to go and help him block the parents room door but she instead runs off. Green Bob yells Leah's name trying to get her to come back. Geo's parents wake up wondering on why there was so much noise. They walk to the door but they couldn't open it with Green Bob struggling to keep it close, telling them that it's "just the weather". As Geo and his friends continue chucking items at Carl, Geo sees Leah and asks her what she is doing; Leah couldn't respond. Eventually, Carl and the guards decide to retreat and they hop into a small ship flying away. Geo's parents finally break out of the room and is shocked by the damage that has occured. Tom Conner wonders on what has happened as Geo's friends stare at him.

Geo Guy explains that "some guy wearing a black hoodie came over to the house with four people" and started blasting the place down. Geo turns his head towards Leah and starts to question why she wasn't helping Green Bob to keep the parents room doors closed. She studders for a second and then, Geo sees Green Bob laying on the floor. He asks if he's okay before Green Bob responds telling him that there's a chance he "might have broken something". Geo once again asks Leah on why she wasn't helping. Leah angrily and tearfully tells Geo what just happened reminded her of some kind of incident that happened in the past and for the entire time she couldn't concentrate. Geo who once wanted to go an adventure decides that he doesn't want to do it anymore and accuses Leah of being some sort of pawn for Vercetti so she can track him down and annihilate his family. Leah insists that it isn't true but at this point, Geo angrily storms off to his ruined bedroom claiming that the adventure has been a lie. As he slams the door, it breaks into pieces. Leah responds saying "you know what, you're not the king of 123 Geo's World! You're a fraud!" She runs off crying from the house as Green Bob and Geo Girl are telling her to come back. Lara (who told Geo about all of this) walks up to a sad Geo telling him that she's sorry to which Geo tells her that it wasn't her fault and that she was just trying to fulfill his longing for adventure. The rest of Geo's friends arrive to see the damages that have taken place.

The next day, work had begun to rebuild the house. Geo Guy stares at the now-damaged World's Greatest Pool in frustration feeling that what he dreamt of was nothing but a sham. He kicks it once in anger before he seeing Green Bob. Green Bob who is now wearing a cast comforts Geo that this wasn't his fault nor was Leah's. Geo tells Green Bob that he knows and feel terrible of what happen yesterday. As the workers begin to load away the damaged pool, Green Bob tells Geo that no matter what now, they have to get ready for what Doom Vercetti might do next. Geo agrees but at the same time is worried about Leah and hopes she will be okay. By the afternoon, fog has begun to roll into 123 Geo's World and Greeny City. As Geo stares into the fog from his bedroom thinking about the events that have transpired, he hears something and decides to see who he is. He then sees what looks like a guy wearing a large cup; Geo walks outside holding a knife in case if it was Vercetti. The man in the large cup speaks startling Geo and he frantically starts asking if he was with Vercetti. The man in the large cup responded saying no and that he just came over to see if everything was okay after what he heard. Geo asks who is and the man in the large cup introduces himself as Galvin Sanucowki. Galvin takes Geo to his store "Big Cup Stuff" and they eventually talk about what happened in the past days. Galvin tells Geo that he has went through a situation like Geo where he feels everything has fallen apart and nothing could get better. In the past, Galvin had to deal with a house fire and his girlfriend breaking up with him. Galvin explains that he thought things will be great but when things don't go the way he wanted to, he thought it was over. However, through perseverance, determination, and patience, he was able to get himself out and start a successful business even if he was hiding under a large cup. Galvin explains to Geo that things will get better but he has to also be determined and not give up. Geo thanks Galvin for his words of encourages and hopes Leah could forgive him and come back, knowing that things are about to become more difficult.

In the forest, Leah is sad and while sitting at tree stump, she thinks about what happened yesterday. After thinking about the last words, she said to Geo she starts to cry feeling guilty for getting angry at him. She then begins to her sing her Leah's Sad Song as the Forest Animals gather around to comfort her. After she finishes, she notices all the animals that have arrive to support her and thanks them. As the fog clears up, she sees a breathtaking view of the mountains and forest. From here, she starts to feel better and soon gains new hope that things will improve before singing her Reprise.

At night, Leah notices a cabin and decides to investigate. However, she sees Vercetti's airship flying past the forest and immediately goes inside the cabin for cover. Leah then hears something before seeing an old woman named Madame Gabrielle. Leah, at first unsure asks if it's okay if she stays to which Gabrielle replies "of course, why else won't I allow my granddaughter to come in for some tea?" Leah questions what Gabrielle means by this with her responding that it's a long story. As Leah and Gabrielle are having tea, Gabrielle decides to tell her the story about her childhood.

The story begins with a couple named who lived in a Village and a baby girl named Leah. Her mother and her father saw Leah as the "cutest and most beautiful thing in the world" and she starts crying. Her mother would sing her lullaby song to make her sleep and calm down. Later that night, a hooded person with many high-tech guards arrives, ready to destroy the people (along with Leah's bio parents), and the Village itself. Leah's bio parents wake up and hear the sound of lasers blasting and fire crackling. Leah wakes up and sees fires in the Village. Her father comes in and Leah asks, "what do we do?" Her father tells her that she'll be fine. The hooded person came here for the Old Man who is supposedly a former employee for an organization he worked at. The Old Man rushes in to tell Leah's bio parents that they have to go immediately. The hooded person sees the Old Man in the village house and commands the guards to burn it down. As her parents attempt to make it out, Leah is trapped in her room about to be killed by the fire. Madame Gabrielle, using her powers, rushes in to save Leah and they break out of the house. As they run off from the burning Village, the house containing the Old Man and Leah's bio parents collapses which kills them. Leah for a brief moment sees the hooded person with guards. As the guards are about to chase after Gabrielle, the hooded man tells them it to let her go because "she isn't important for what we came here for." While the fire burns in the ruins of the house, the hooded man says, "Sorry Old Man, this is what happens when you tried to oust me from my job." After running away for a while, Gabrielle arrives at the Whipstaff Manor which is where Leah has been.

The story ends and Leah realizes that Gabrielle saved her when she was little. Leah now has renewed hope and she is ready to be on her own. Gabrielle tells her that she'll always be in her heart and Leah hugs Gabrielle with a smile, telling Gabrielle that she loves her. Before Leah leaves, she asks Gabrielle if she knew the name of that hooded persion since she felt the person she encountered with yesterday was familar which Gabrielle responds that his name is none other Carl H'Sur.

In Doom Vercetti's airship, Vercetti meets with Carl H'Sur to see how the assault went. Carl reports that although they didn't fully eliminate Geo Guy, they managed to break his spirit resulting in Geo and Leah to go their separate ways. Vercetti thanks Carl and now they set off for Greeny City and 123 Geo's World at dawn to capture Geo's parents. Carl mentions to Vercetti that the reason why he has the guards watch near the manion was to see how the girl (Leah) from the village was doing since he was responsible for the destruction of a Village many years ago that killed her parents. Vercetti tells him to not worry too much about it. However, Carl explains to Vercetti that this girl is the same one who is with Geo Guy. Vercetti dissmisses it thinking that they are no longer together and aren't a problem to deal with.

While morning dawns, Leah is ready to find Geo Guy and his friends. As she makes it to back to 123 Geo's World, she hears a snarling sound. Leah walks backwards slowly and suddenly, an wild wolf starts chasing Leah, she screamed and runs away as fast as she could before her legs got tired. As it looks like the end for her, Geo Guy comes in and throws a branch causing the wolf to run away; Geo asks if she's okay as Green Bob runs up to catch with them. Leah happily hugs Geo with him returning the hug glad that she's okay. She tells him that she was worried sick and was sorry for what happened and Geo tells her that he's happy she is back and apologizes to her. Leah says to Geo that he is a great and true hero and kisses him on the cheek. Afterwards, Leah briefly explains to Geo and Green Bob about her childhood she has learned about. She reveals that it's possible the hooded person that attacked them yesterday was Carl H'Sur. Geo then pieces it together and realizes that the connection Leah has with Vercetti was that Carl attacked the village after a person from his organization attempted to oust him from his position. From here, he theorizes that Carl at some point started to work with Doom Vercetti to accomplish the goal of not just revenge on Geo's parents but also to monitor how Leah has been doing since then. Green Bob tells Geo and Leah that they have to go now. As they head off, Geo Guy tells Leah that he loves her.

Doom Vercetti's airship hovers above Geo Guy's house. While Geo Girl is eating breakfast, she hears the a hovering sound before a large explosion sound from upstairs. Geo Girl and Gum check out to see what has happened; they see 3 Ballerinas Dancers throwing Geo's parents into a cage that broke threw the roof and is hooked to the airship. Wally and Lumpy went upstairs to see what's happening. Vercetti, through an intercom, tells them that their parents are now her's and they will pay. She commands the Ballerina Dancers to attack. Geo Guy, Green Bob, and Leah arrive to the house and Geo sees his parents being kidnapped. Geo yells to them as his parents tell him to save them; he then sees Geo Girl, Wally, Lumpy, and Gum being attacked by the 3 Ballerina Dancers. They rush up to help them and fight off the Ballerina Dancers. After some difficulties, they managed to defeat them (even with Green Bob's arm still being injured) but they now have to save Geo's parents before it's too late.

Green Bob sees a Pizza Planet Truck and they decide to get in and drive to save them. As they get in, Geo Guy states that he doesn't have a license to drive with Leah responding that it's now or never. Geo starts the truck and drives off to chase after Doom Vercetti. While Geo is driving, he tells Geo Girl to call up everyone in 123 Geo's World to help them. The truck speeds through Greeny City as they get closer to Vercetti's airship. Vercetti then sends her guards to take them down and they land on the truck. Wally and Lumpy help fight off the guards, but they know that they need more help. As the guards' pops one of the tires, Geo starts to think that they aren't going to make it. Suddenly, they see Dr. Beanson along with Dr. PBS flying helicopters (which are crowded with all of Geo's friends) and tell them to jump in. Geo, Green Bob, and Leah get into Dr. Beanson's helicopter while Geo Girl, Wally, Lumpy, Fulano and Gum get into Dr. PBS's helicopter. Geo comments that the helicopter is "a bit crowded". Dr. Beanson respond that it doesn't matter because they are all here to stop Vercetti. They fly towards the airship at a fast pace. Vercetti becomes surprised and furious at what she was seeing and demands the guards to start shooting lasers at them. The airship is now flying above the coast and into the Atlantic Ocean. Geo's parents have been loaded up into the inside of the airship which results in Geo suggesting they get closer to he airship despite heavy being under heavy fire. Eventually, Dr. Beanson decides to get close to the airship so Geo Guy, Green Bob, and Leah can get in. They managed to jump over and get in, but they are surrounded by Vercetti's guards. Geo sees that his parents have now been tied up with rope.

Doom Vercetti and Carl H'Sur confront them saying that there's nothing that Geo and his friends can do to stop them. Geo tells Vercetti that he knows what she tried to do them many years ago and Leah tells Carl that she knows what happened to her parents. Vercetti responds stating that none of these matters because Geo's parents will soon be dropped into the cold abyss that is the Atlantic Ocean and Leah will be finished off like her own parents. Tom Conner insists that Vercetti needs to let go of what happened in the past to which Vercetti harshly responds saying that she doesn't need Tom anymore because she has found a new purpose which is to gain control and power with the first thing, she wants to do is to settle old scores starting with Geo Guy's parents; Vercetti then commands "let's finish this". Carl points the blaster towards Leah as he states that he regretted not doing this a long time ago. She kicks Carl and they all get up to start fighting the guards. Green Bob manages to open the rear door to the airship allowing for Geo's friends to come in and attack the guards. Little Guy, Geo Girl, Margo, and everyone else rush in to help. Vercetti and Carl are overwhelmed by everyone who has arrived to take them down. Vercetti activates the drop door to drop Geo's parents. Geo tackles Vercetti who is holding a knife. She tries to aim it for Geo, but it ends up damaging the controls resulting in the airship to start malfunctioning. Green Bob tells Geo's friends to get off the ship because it's about to go down. Dr. PBS's helicopter arrives to pick them up and Dr. PBS even fights off some of the guards. Dr. Beanson's helicopter also arrives (along with Coraline and Lisa) Geo tells him that he will cut the rope where his parents are and that Coraline and Lisa will need to catch them. Tom is shocked but Geo assures them that it will be fine. After a moment of consideration, they decide to do it with Liz telling them that if don't make it out, she wants to let him know that everyone is proud of him and will be there for him no matter what. Geo thanks them and he starts cutting the rope. Carl tries to stop Geo from cutting the rope, but he is tackled by Leah. Green Bob meanwhile is fighting against Vercetti causing the airship to sway more wildly. Eventually, Geo successfully cuts the rope and Coraline and Lisa catches Geo's parents. Geo thanks them as Dr. Beanson flies off back to shore making sure they're safe. Geo's friends make it to Dr. PBS's helicopter and as Geo Guy, Leah, and Green Bob are about to make it, Vercetti and Carl pulls Geo and Leah's legs stopping them from making it. Green Bob makes it and he and Margo tries to pull Geo and Leah out. Vercetti tells Green Bob that even if she and Carl are going down, Geo and Leah will as well. Lara, in a last moment of desperation, throws her doll, Tikiy, at Vercetti which hits her face causing her to lose her grip and fall. Geo is freed and he jumps into Dr. PBS's helicopter. He grabs Leah by the hand as the ship continues to plummet. As Carl tries to hold on further, Leah kicks him in the face causing him to fall. Geo manages to grab Leah and they fly off as the airship crashes into the ocean before eventually exploding. Everyone celebrates that they have won, and Geo's parents are safe.

The next day, Geo Guy's friends celebrate their victory over Vercetti and his parents tell him they are proud, and they have a gift for him. Liz tells him to close his eyes. When Geo opens his eyes, he sees a band new World's Greatest Pool and Geo gets excited. He tells Leah that she can stay in 123 Geo's World. Leah is very happy that she loves the new place and especially the new friends she has made. Green Bob arrives and thanks Geo Guy for being a good friend like he always has been. Geo Guy is glad that everything is back the way they are. As the celebration in Geo's backyard continues with fireworks being set off into the sky, Geo asks Leah out on a date to which she accepts, and they kiss. As Geo kisses Leah, he sees Lara, who helped him start this adventure in the first place; he gives her a thumbs up as a thank you. The film ends as we zoom out of 123 Geo's World with the words "The End". The Randy Newman song "The Time of Your Life" plays in the end credits.

Geo's 1st Movie Logo (Film Opening Credits Version)

Film logo used in the opening scene.

Development of Geo's 1st Movie began in 1994 when Geo G. had an idea for a Geo's World feature film and he would begin working with John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Joe Ranft, and Pete Doctor for the film's storyline. Although there were plans for a direct-to-video release, Geo G. scrapped the idea in favor of a theatrical release feeling the film's potentially large scale and the popularity of the show is big enough to warrant a larger moviegoing audience.

During early development, the film's working title was Geo's World: The Movie but it was later changed in 1996 to Geo's 1st Movie. In addition, Bob Beanson was originally going to be the main antagonist but was changed to a new character named Doom Vercetti to make the film feel fresher and more interesting. A character that was going to appear in the film named Lip was planned but he was scrapped. This also goes with Toon Link who was slated to appear in the film.

Lasseter, Geo, Stanton, Ranft and Doctor began working on the script in mid-1995 following Toy Story's massive success which had a large influence on development into many of the decisions in development; work on the animation would begin November 1996.

The score and songs were composed by Randy Newman who just came off the large success of Toy Story's soundtrack. The theme of Geo's World, "The Time of Your Life" was also given lyrics for the first time. As an agreement with Disney, Geo G. decided to include only three song numbers which were both sung by the new character Leah as Geo G. pushed for a more conventional story.

The film was originally to be scheduled for release on November 21, 1997, but it was pushed back to December 23, 1997, to avoid competition with Anastasia.
